Dr. Francois Rivet is an Associate Professor at the Bordeaux Institute of Technology (Bordeaux INP), where he has been tenured since June 2010. He obtained his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in 2005 and 2009, respectively, from the University of Bordeaux.
Dr. Francois Rivet‘s expertise lies in the field of RFIC (Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits) design, and he is actively engaged in cutting-edge research at the IMS Laboratory, the University of Bordeaux’s microelectronics laboratory. He founded the “Circuits and Systems” research team in 2014, which has since thrived under his leadership.
Dr. Francois Rivet has showcased his research findings in top-ranked international journals, conferences, and national conferences. Additionally, his innovative ideas have resulted in 19 patents.
Throughout his career, Dr. Francois Rivet has been honored with awards for his work. He received the Best Paper Award at the Software Defined Radio Forum held in Washington DC, USA, in 2008, at Journees Nationales Micro-ondes in both 2015 and 2017, at LASCAS in 2021 in Arequipa, Peru, as well as at AVIC in 2022 in Hiroshima, Japan.
Dr. Francois Rivet‘s influence extends beyond his research. He actively contributes to the academic community as a valued member of several Technical Program Committees, including RFIC and ESSCIRC, among others. Additionally, he serves on esteemed steering committees such as RFIC, ICECS, and LASCAS, where he contributes his expertise and helps shape the direction of relevant conferences and symposiums.
