Probabilities and Statistical Modeling
My background in mathematics and statistics and my enrollment in STAPS in 1999 have led me to engage in research activities in various directions. Initially, I worked on the statistical theory of accelerated life testing in reliability. In this context, I have published, among other things, a book with two co-authors by Hermès editions in 2007.
Simultaneously, I have conducted research on statistical methods applied to sports science. In this context, I have published, among other things, a book by Ellipses editions in 2022.
Since 2013, I have also been conducting research in the epistemology of probability and statistics. In this context, I have published, among other things, a book by Pole editions in 2017.
Having joined IMS in 2017, I am currently developing my research within the Cognitics group. In this context, I have supervised and supported, among other things, a CIFRE thesis in collaboration with the sports betting company BETCLIC on “Statistical Modeling of the Probabilities of Events Subject to Sports Betting”.
