Short Biography:
André Benine Neto received his degree in Control and Automation Engineering from UNICAMP (Universidade Estadual de Campinas), Brazil in 2006. From 2006 to 2008, he worked as a Product Development Engineer at Ford Motor Company in Brazil. From 2009 to 2011, he carried out Research on Driver Assistance Systems at LIVIC/IFSTTAR, France, and received the PhD degree in Automatic Control from Université d’Evry Val d’Essonne in 2011. In 2012 he held a position at assistant professor at UPMC University in Paris and carried out his research at the Institute of Intelligent Systems and Robotics (ISIR). Since 2013, he is an Associate Professor on Control Engineering at University of Bordeaux, France. His research interests at IMS Laboratory include advanced driver assistance systems, global chassis control, robust control and fractional systems.
